hey so I was just wondering do you all play any games while you are working to boost sales and what not and you guys win prizes for winning?  like we have alot of alcohol contests and we've played games like bingo and poker.  so i'm just wondering if you all have any other games you play so i can incorporate them into my restuarant because we're getting tired of the same games.  thanks!

hey so i was wondering are other ogs having a menu change come this monday?  Our restarant is gearing up for taking some items off the menu and permanently adding some  new ones.  I know we're getting rid of Chicken castilena, three meat ravioli, sausage and peppers rustica, shrimp and crab rav, and berry crostada and chocolate lasagna.  Now we're getting new beed tortilini, shrimp risoto, and some ribs.  i know some other ogs were like tester ogs to see if these new items would work.  well ive tried them all (except for the shrimp cuz i dont like seafood)  and theya re all yummy.  also we are getting Gelato and a torti dessert which is basically a heated chocolate cake with some strawberries.  i just wanted to know what ur ogs are gonna be doing.  

also has anyone heard about the new compris system?  supossedly they are changing the compris to make it more practical for us and us CTs have to go to a meeting and then train everyone about it.  yeah im hoping people can reprint their own checks cuz that is the one that bugs me.  and the seperate checks.  anywyas i heard u can put a time on the compris on when to actually send the food that way u wont ever forget to send it.  eh just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything else about it.  =)

I couldn't find an OG community the first time I looked so I was going to make one. Then I found this one, and I pouted. Figures that someone else got to it first.

My name is Eve, and I'm an alcoholic a ToGo specialist.

The upshot of that is that I'm the only one in the restuarant who is special. Booyah, bitches. :) (Ah, just joshing, kiddies. I love OG people because they put up with such a lot of shit.)

I'm irritatingly cheerful at work, partly because I'm a really high energy (Er..high strung, you mean.) person and partly because I know it pisses off all the grumpies.

My friend Jon the Host (tm) should be here at any time, so everybody be really mean to him for me because he's a butthead, okay?

I worked a split today...
My first table this morning was horrible!!!. The lady was very rude to me and demanding. Then I was at the table she asked me what kind of perfume I was wearing and I said none because I never wear any. She replied with "Oh.. well then your smell is very offensive because every time you come to the table I can smell you and it's making me sick" She said it in a VERY snotty way and rolled her eyes at me after she said it. I was just shocked and didn't know what to say so I said "uhmm.. ok..." and walked off and asked another server to take over the table for me.
WTF??????? seriously....!!!
Then tonight I had a table of old ladies that were great until they got the bill. One lady claimed that I over charged them for the soup/salad/stix even though I told them BEFORE they even ordered that it cost more at dinner time. She tossed the black book at me and told me she'd never be back. I very kindly offered her a few different fixes and asked her if she'd like to speak to a manager and she said no. Less than 5 minutes after she left the building she called and asked for a manager and complained about me. Obviously she called from the parking lot.
My manager just told her the same thing I had and she hung up on him.
So, I guess I am rude and I smell bad today. Luckily the day is almost over.

I just joined. I don't work at OG anymore, but I did during college (about 3 years ago) and I love reminiscing on the crappines that is the OG. Anyway, I look forward to swapping storied :)

Just a quick question has this ever happened to anyone before (probably not)in the past couple of months i have received an attitude from an fellow employee,Todays just tops it as I confronted her asking why was I getting an attitude from her and she had no answer.It was later that really scared me as I was doing the routine check in the bathrooms when she came in and cornered me I had no way out at all I had to push her out of the way.Does anyone know what I should do ? Im thinking on going to my managers and my director is there anything that I should know? Please let me know.
